Consequently, a business plan is simultaneously a search, research and development work.
It would not be an exaggeration to name a business plan as the basis for managing not only a commercial project, but also the enterprise itself. Thanks to the business plan, the management has the opportunity to look at their own company from the outside. The very process of developing a business plan, including a detailed analysis of economic and organizational issues, makes one mobilize. The purpose of a business plan can be obtaining a loan, or attracting investment, determining the strategic and tactical guidelines of the company, etc.
The business plan gives an objective idea of the possibilities for the development of production, ways of promoting goods on the market, prices, possible profits, the main financial and economic results of the enterprise, identifies risk zones, suggests ways to reduce them. The business plan is used regardless of the scope, scale, ownership and organizational and legal form of the company. The production plan of the enterprise is the basis for planning the work of absolutely any company. In this document, as a rule, the procedure and volume of production of goods or the provision of services are fixed, together with related characteristics: cost, volume of raw materials used, labor costs. It is worth considering in more detail how to correctly draw up a production plan for an enterprise. In addition, the information below provides information about what purposes it implies, which must be displayed in the document.
The production plan of an enterprise is a document with the help of which the management of any company organizes the work, as well as the entire labor process, the amount of raw materials and energy used, as well as the employment of personnel. This production plan is the backbone of any company. Without the production plan of the enterprise, it is impossible to maintain proper control of the company, track losses and profits, and also identify ways of chemicalization for their optimization.
This document sets a task for each structural unit or department. The content of the production plan of the enterprise is drawn up independently in each company. That is why it is almost impossible to find a ready-made document template. Each organization has its own specifics of work, so the content of the production plan of the enterprise is unique.
However, there are generally accepted approaches and algorithms on which this document is based. Their use greatly simplifies the procedure. You also need to know that you cannot write an example of an enterprise's production plan once, and then use it. This document needs regular revision.
What does it give
Any sample production plan includes several goals at the same time, which are as follows:
- Determination of the number of units of services and goods that are required to generate profit in the enterprise.
- Lobbying for a certain amount of profit, as well as the ratio of income and expenses and other financial important indicators.
- Monitoring and evaluation of the efficiency of the use of raw materials and resources.
- Quality control. After the approval of the production plan of the enterprise, it is possible to fix certain characteristics of the goods in it, after all, to achieve them.
- Raw material consumption planning.
- Search for methods to optimize options and workflow.
- Power control. Monitoring the effectiveness of the use of labor resources.
- Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of sales.
- Develop the best ways to use the budget.

As you can see, the list of tasks that are included in the structure of the production plan of the enterprise is very long. In addition, this document may also include other indicators and goals that are required for the structural unit. Main types of production plan
It should be noted that all production plans are usually divided into several types. Let's take a closer look at each of them separately.
This production plan is usually drawn up for one or two years. It is divided into semesters or quarters. Most often, such a short-term production plan of an enterprise is used for catering, for example, for seasonal cafes. The goals that the company sets for itself must be achieved throughout the year.

Despite all the difficulties and problems in Ukraine, millions of people are already employed in the field of private entrepreneurship. However, business is a very special way of life, which implies a willingness to make independent decisions and take risks. As everyone knows, no one can give guarantees of success. The mortality rate of enterprises is very high - about 50% of all new enterprises cease to exist within the first year of operation. In some countries, such as the UK, this figure is much higher than in others. But even in the United States, where start-ups are well supported, the rate of business failure is much higher than the officially expected level. The phenomenon of the fall of enterprises has been extensively researched and studied, but it is possible to identify and eliminate the influence of only some of the factors leading to this. Typical causes of business failures are: a general economic downturn, the release of goods that do not meet the needs of the market, mismanagement and marketing, and, of course, inadequate funding. This list can be supplemented by a large number of other factors, most of which, to one degree or another, are derived from the named main reasons.
The current economic situation associated with the transition to market relations dictates to enterprises a new approach to intrafirm planning. Planning is essential for any organization that intends to take action in the future. Enterprises are forced to look for such forms and models of planning that would ensure the maximum efficiency of the decisions made.
The best option for achieving such solutions is a business plan.
