Business plan of an enterprise for the production of frame-modular buildings
The business plan of production is the first step from which the implementation of any project begins. Unlike enterprises that conduct only commercial activities, in the case of releasing their products, it will be necessary to describe in detail the entire production process, the finished product and give the corresponding calculations.
Project Summary
The resume should briefly and succinctly describe the goals of the enterprise, the main directions of the development strategy, information about the payback and profitability of the project is immediately provided. The main task of the resume is to attract the attention of the investor, to interest them in further studying the business plan. It would be useful to include a description of the finished product in the section.
Competition Analysis
Contains information about the features of the selected industry, market saturation in this area and the needs of a potential client. It is especially important to conduct such an analysis for highly competitive industries - woodworking production, production of upholstered and cabinet furniture, plastic windows, doors, plastic packaging, stainless steel products, etc. In the case of high competition, the business plan should focus the attention of investors on the competitive advantages of the project, while it is advisable not to focus on the uniqueness of the idea - any know-how is quickly picked up by competitors and the concept ceases to be original.
Also, one should not declare the absence of competition - this may indicate a low demand for such a product. When drawing up a business plan for the production of cinder blocks, one should take into account the factories of foam blocks, blocks of expanded clay gravel available in the region.
Registration of production
The organizational form of the enterprise depends on the planned scale of future activities, materials and equipment used. Business ideas such as making furniture, handmade soaps, soft or wooden toys, decorative fittings, paper bags or cups do not require large production facilities and can be implemented in a home workshop format. The organizational and legal form of an individual entrepreneur with a simplified taxation system is suitable for them.
Opening a large-scale production involves hiring employees, using specialized equipment, materials subject to certification. So, for the manufacture of corrugated board, concrete, artificial stone, granite chips, metal mesh, it is better to register a limited liability company.
Search and rent premises for production
The choice of premises depends on the product being manufactured. Sewing bed linen or a small carpentry workshop can be organized at home in the form of an individual entrepreneur. For furniture production, the manufacture of pallets, charcoal, an area of 200 m2 will be required, not counting the warehouse area. A plant producing products using specialized equipment needs a larger area. So, for the production of gypsum, crushed stone, rubber tiles, paving stones, you need a room of 800 m2 that can meet the needs for electricity.

Brief Investment Memorandum
The production of cabinet furniture is a fairly profitable business, since the demand for this type of furniture is stable throughout the year. For this business you will need:
- Premises: workshop and office;
- Employees: designer-technologist and furniture assembler;
- Suppliers of materials and fittings; li >
- Intermediaries for increasing sales: furniture showrooms and design studios.
Depending on the planned volume of investments and experience in this area, you need to choose a method of organizing production. Production can be organized in three ways, depending on the length of the technological process and the size of the investment:
- Full cycle production;
- Medium cycle production;
- Short cycle production.
A complete description of the workflow is provided in other sections of this business plan.
To organize a private business from scratch, you do not need to try to cover all stages of furniture manufacturing. Better to start by assembling ready-made components in your own workshop. In this case, you will have time to build a system for working with a client, establish relationships with suppliers, research the market, and build a customer base. And once the flow of customers becomes stable, you can consider expanding your business to include other technological processes.
The assortment of cabinet furniture consists of office furniture (chairs, tables, shelves, etc.) and home furniture (cabinets, wardrobes, dressers, tables, chairs, stools, benches, etc.) ...
Advertising in specialized printed publications (building catalogs, interior magazines), advertising on billboards, website creation and promotion, etc. are used as promotion channels on the market. The advertising campaign is described in more detail in the corresponding section of the business plan.
To organize production, 3 people are enough in the staff: a manager, a designer-technologist and a furniture assembler.
A transport company is involved in the delivery of finished products to the customer.
SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT
The goal of the project is to organize an enterprise for the production of frame-modular buildings in Yaroslavl. Modular buildings can be used as change houses, mobile office buildings, shopping pavilions, country houses, as well as full-fledged residential buildings. The advantages of these buildings are:
mobility - the building can be disassembled and transported up to ten times
low cost - the use of economical materials in the construction allows to reduce the cost in comparison with wooden or stone (brick, gas-block) buildings; since the modules are manufactured according to standard designs, and the buyer orders the finished product from the catalog, a minimum of work is carried out directly on the construction site, which also reduces the cost of construction and its timing
the use of standard modules allows you to reduce costs due to mass production, as well as reduce the cost of storing finished products, which allows you to increase the profitability of the enterprise
